The Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter provides versatility and affordability by allowing you to use your favorite lenses on almost any of your cameras. Made with Precision, award standards to ensure the perfect fit for your camera and lens which helps it to endure professional use. The ‘no-play’ design creates a secure fit that enhances and maintains a professional appearance. Automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and other functions will not operate automatically while using this adapter as it is not electronic. In this case, “stop-down mode” will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. Infinity focusing is allowed. As with all Fotodiox Pro series adapters, these adapters have been specially crafted to endure professional use. The leaf spring design in the adapter holds the lens tight to the camera body ensuring there is no play between the camera and the lens. The blue dial on the adapter is an aperture adjustment dial which allows the iris to be adjusted on even the Nikon G & D lenses; on older Nikon lenses with a aperture dial on the lens, the blue dial on the adapter can act as a depth of field preview lever allowing you to switch back and forth between wide open and stopped down to a certain f-stop. The Fotodiox Pro Leica R to Canon EF-M lens mount adapter will fit all Nikon-G Mount Lenses (G & DX type lenses) to a Canon EF-M Camera such as the Canon EOS M Digital Camera. Works great for the price it’s a no brainer. Well made fits perfectly for totally manual old school lenses. I use with my nikon primes. Seems to increase the minimum focus distance but otherwise great adapter.

This lens mount adapter is just about OK for the price. It works fine; but then you’re not asking much from what is basically a hollow tube which has to make up a known flange focal distance.It is built pretty well, though there’s no comparison AT ALL with the metabones Nikon to Fuji X adapter I have. But then again, this costs much less.The biggest gripe I have about this adapter is that the lens side (where you fit the OM-Zuiko lens) fits very very tight. Uncomfortably so….the fit is exceedingly snug and not in a good way – it feels like you are trying to coax two things to fit which are not meant to, but just happen to be of comparable diameters. I guess I am just about comfortable with the adapter not doing any damage to my lens mount. Just about.The Fuji X side (camera side) fits very well. No complaints there.Don’t know if this is true of all Fotodiox adapters. I have only the OM-Fuji X one. A metabones adapter will be superior in every way, but for many times the cost.
